We finally have a great stock of Quince & Co Owl on our shelves today!

Owl is a perfect blend of alpaca and wool.  50% American Wool and 50% New Zealand Alpaca! Knits up on a 6 or 7 to a worsted weight gauge. It’s a beauty!

Quince just published a new pattern that we LOVE for this yarn.  Nascha. 4 skeins each in 2 colors makes this lovely poncho. And it’s in a very addictive brioche stitch, reversible!!

Quince & Co & DKA

.

We are so excited to announce that we are going to be carrying Quince & Co linens this spring.   And by spring we mean FRIDAY!
.

Hannah Fettig & Sparrow in Knitbot Linen Book

.
We will be getting Sparrow in our first delivery. Sparrow is a beautifully simple little yarn that knits 6 stitches to the inch on a US3.  It is a soft linen that gets even softer when you wash and wear it.  We’ll have all the current 13 colors in stock.
.

Sparrow Colors from Quince & Co.

.
We will also have a trunk show with 7 different garments knit in Sparrow ready for you to fondle on Friday.  Oh, it’s gonna be fun!
.
Don’t know much about Quince & Co yet?  They have a great story to tell.
.
We knew they were the perfect fit for us when we read this…
.
“We believe that all knitting is equal. Some days we crave intricate stitches on tiny needles; other times we want to plow quickly through a chunky yarn with big, round needles. Either way we’re happy making something we know we’ll want to wear.

We tend toward projects that are utilitarian and friendly-the sweater you reach for when you pour a cup of tea or grab the dog’s leash for a walk. But we also like the precious, labor-of-love, little jewel of a knitted accessory, too-a cabled mitt, a dainty lace kerchief-you know the kind of thing.

We want your knitting experience to be a pleasure, and your project to be a success.”
.
If that doesn’t sound like it was written by DKA, we don’t know what does.
.
We are excited to offer Quince & Co linen and we hope you love it as much as we do!
.
Want to get even more excited?  Check out some of these patterns!
