Our Makers League project this month was designed by Julianna.

Julianna purchased her Grandma's house a few years ago. You know how much we love a Grandma around here. Julianna has lovingly become the caretaker of this house. She has fixed things, captured things, painted things, and wondered many things. As one does in an old house.

A pair of mittens was found in a drawer. She learned that they were knit by her Great Grandma Mary Rice. Mary Rice was a knitter, crocheter, and completer of tasks (must be where Julianna gets it). Julianna loved them so much, she just had to recreate them.

So...without further ado...Grandma's Mittens!

The kit includes:

- 1 skein of Kelbourne Woolens Lucky Tweed (100% Merino Wool, 210 yards/100g)
- a hard copy of the pattern
- a set of re-useable handwarmers (because Grandma Colleen ALWAYS had handwarmers inside her pockets)

You will need a set of US8 32" circular or double pointed needles. Those are not included in the kit.



And the first 100 kits sold will include a special locking stitch marker with a fall creature or acorn charm:)
