Istex Ltd is the main wool manufacturer in Iceland, with over a century of wool tradition behind them.   The Icelandic wool is unique compared to the wool of other sheep breeds. The inner fibers are fine, and highly insulating while the outer fibers are long, glossy and water repellent. The blanket is extremely durable, lightweight and breathable. 

NOTE: These are not a super soft merino wool blanket, but they are warm and light and you will LOVE them:)
