Darn Knit Anyway is celebrating our super talented Minnesota and Wisconsin yarn-dyeing buddies with this multi-day winter box.
Featuring a baker's dozen mini-skeins of fingering-weight yarn, dyed by 7 Wisconsin- and 6 Minnesota-based dyers, as well as an assortment of other notions, trinkets, treats, and goodies that celebrate our home our home states!
Each box will contain 13 exclusive colors, inspired by this mood board of Wisconsin and Minnesota images, covered in snow.
An exclusive pattern, designed by Emily, featuring the 13 mini-skeins, will also be included in the box.
Preorders begin Wednesday, September 9 at 9AM Central - set your alarms, boxes are limited!
Boxes will be ready for pick up and shipping the first week of November.

When do boxes go on sale?
Wednesday, September 9 at 9AM Central - set an alarm because quantities are limited!
If boxes sell out, will you be ordering more?
Because this is the first year we've done this, we've done one order to 'pilot' the project. Once they're gone, they're gone, and we will certainly adjust for next year! Buuuuut this year's box is a one-and-done.
Will you be dyeing more of the yarn in the box?
These colorways are dyed exclusively for the box - we hope you enjoy them in their mini-form. ;) We don't have plans to get them re-dyed in the future.
Mini-skeins are also very time-intensive for our busy indie yarn dyers, and we're so grateful to them for contributing their time toward this project.
When will I get my box?
Boxes will be available for pick-up/shipping first week of November.
I don't like surprises...how do I know if I'll like the yarn?
I can definitely tell you that the yarn is beautiful, and inspired by our lovely mood board above...but beyond that, it is a surprise. If you don't like surprises, if you like to know what colors you're getting or what pattern you're getting yourself into, this might not be the box for you.
If I don't like the colors, can I return it?
Part of the fun of this box is the mystery...once our boxes ship/are picked up, there are no returns or refunds for any reason.
Can I use my rewards/coupons on the box?
This preorder product is not eligible for discounts.
Is this a knit pattern or a crochet pattern?
The pattern is knit. We won't have an exclusive crochet pattern, but there are plenty to be found on Ravelry!
