What do you use these for? Well, sometimes you need to know what the right side of your project is. Maybe you decrease on the right side, or work a special pattern on the right side? You attach the marker to each side of your item (or just one side) and then you'll always know which side is which! 

Maybe you'll use them to mark an increase row, or cable row...you'll figure out a use for them!
