The Polwarth sheep was developed in Australia and is a mix of 75% Merino and 25% Lincoln. Polwarth fiber is easy to spin with staple lengths averaging 4-6" and a micron count between 22-25. Definitely next to skin softness and known for its elasticity and durability, Polwarth wool is considered a delicate fiber with bounce and drape.
