Join DKA for a year-long spinning adventure!

We have created a 12-month fiber subscription for spinners looking to explore the world of wool. This is the PAY IN FULL option! If you know you will pick up each month, choose "I'll pick up". If we are shipping to you, choose "ship them all" option and shipping will be included.

Every month you will receive four ounces of processed wool ready to spin. This collection of wool comes from diverse and, sometimes, rare breeds of sheep. Your wooly adventure will include a range of fine to medium textures, long wools, dual coated wools, down breeds, primitive breeds, and more. Each box will deepen your understanding of wool and encourage you to spin in new ways.

And you won’t be adventuring alone! Subscribers will meet once a month on Zoom to talk about the wool and share our spinning experience.

Your first breed box will include a 12-month DKA Breed Box Passport to document your fiber journey.

Each month’s box will include:

· 4oz of combed or carded wool.

· An information card about the sheep breed and its characteristics, along with spinning notes from Carroll about how she spun fiber of the month.

· A breed sticker for your Passport

· A custom wooden sheep bobbin to show off a sample of your spin.

· A Zoom meetup on the last Saturday of the month at 10am Central Time to chat about that month’s sheep breed, wool type, and different spinning techniques.
