Our October project is perfect for the season. Who wouldn't want a few cute pumpkins for your fall decorating? And 100% cashmere? After the year we've had, why wouldn't you?
These pumpkins are knit in one piece. One mistake rib stitch pattern and one cable knit stitch pattern.
You'll also work I-cord stem and some minimal finishing.
Included in the kit is enough for 2 pumpkins.
1 skein of Blue Sky Fibers Eco-Cashmere - 100% cashmere, 164 yards = 50 grams
Enough green Cascade Eco + for the stems and finishing.
Hard copy of pattern
This kit also includes our Seed Stitch patch. Cause you know pumpkins come from seeds:)
Patches will be included while supplies last.
1 patch per customer, even with multiple kits purchased, unless you let us know you want a 2nd one!
This kit DOES NOT include the stuffing (fiberfill), but we do have fiberfill available. Click here to get fiberfill for your pumpkins
Gauge is NOT important in this project - it's just a pumpkin:)
The project calls for a US3 needle, to get a pumpkin 5" wide by 2" tall.
You can certainly use a US5 needle to get a bigger pumpkin (with looser stitches). There is enough yarn to do the larger needle size.
The cabled pumpkin in the photo below was knit on a US5, the mistake rib was knit on a US3. So maybe do one of each.
Remember, there is no club to join to purchase a Makers' League. Just find a month you love and buy it.
