This month's project is Elijah, by Ysolda. 

Carly knit this sweet softie and we think you'll love it as much as she does!

Kit includes 
1 skein of Misti Alpaca Pima Silk Hand Dyed. (Sport/DK weight, 327 yards)
40 grams of fluff for stuffing
A small amount of black yarn for embroidered eyes
A hard copy of the pattern and a ravelry download.

Our sample is Neptune but we picked colors we think would make adorable Elijahs!
 
The elephant is knit from the top down without seaming. We suggest a US2 or 3 needle. Either double points, 32" or 40" for magic loop technique. You'll be working lots of small diameter limbs:)

The most important thing is to work Elijah at a relatively tight gauge to create a firm fabric without holes that the stuffing can poke through. 


You will have extra yarn when you are done with Elijah. Depending on your gauge, you just might get a 2nd Elijah out of the rest, or maybe a baby hat to go along with it! Sounds like a great baby gift to us!
