One of the very first people that walked through the doors of Darn Knit Anyway when we opened back in 2009 was Phyllis Smith. She owned an alterations business in Stillwater and was so knowledgeable. She was fun, funny, and creative. She brought us some good luck charms that we still have on top of the register today.

Phyllis now owns ScribaDoodle Press, and enjoys writing, illustrating, and animating children's books and videos.

A few weeks ago, a package arrived in the mail from Phyllis. It was a set of books, that she had written, illustrated, and self published about yarn! And guess what? The main characters were Miss Aimee and Miss Carly.

COME ON!!!

Of course we had to share them with you. You love supporting our small business, so maybe you'd support Phyllis too? You can preorder the books in the shop, or online and we'll get your copy in the mail in a few short weeks.

Thanks for the fun Phyllis! We LOVE!
