Go To Beaded Cowl

Have you ever wanted to knit with beads? This is an easy beaded cowl class to show you how.

Diane, your instructor, always has a “reward” knitting project going. She always has something she really loves to work on that’s easy and fun to make while taking a break from more challenging projects. This cowl is her Go-to project.

Choose your favorite color yarn and beads. It’s fun to knit the simple stitch pattern with an easy bead placement method. 

Class: Go To Beaded Cowl
Skills Required: Must be familiar with long tail cast on, knitting, and purling. 
You will learn: The German Twisted or Old Norwegian methods. Instructor will demonstrate at class. It’s a stretchier cast on. You’ll love it! You'll learn about beads and how to efficiently string them.

Supplies Needed:

• Go To Beaded Cowl pattern provided by instructor
• Yarn – One skein of Malabrigo Rios (200 yards of a light worsted/dk yarn)
• Needles: US 8 24" length circular needle.
• 60 grams (2 packs) TOHO 6/0 seed beads.
• Beading surface and floss threader (provided by instructor)
• Stitch marker
• Darning needle
