Block Party, The Class
Blocking allows your knit and crochet items to bloom to a drape and polished finish. In this one and done class, bring in an item to block and you will learn to block it. Amy will provide instruction as to the various ways to block sweaters, shawls, socks, and hats and learn considerations to include color catchers, steaming vs fully submerging an item, and the various products to block, dry, and pin your creations.
Bring an item to block and we will get it wet, lay it out to block it, and pin, if necessary. If you have a blocking mat, pins, etc. bring them. If not, you can borrow Amy’s for the class, noting that you will be bringing home a wet project to re-block when you return home from the class.

Items to bring:
- Completed knit or crochet project to block (it could have been something you finished eons ago and wore, or something newly finished)
- 2 large towels that won’t bleed color when wet.
- A bucket to submerge your project in.
- A plastic bag to place your wet project in at the end of the class
Amy will have:

Students are given a 10% discount for supplies needed for class and any purchases at the shop during class days, excluding sale items, gift cards, classes, and events.
Register early. Classes with fewer than three students will be canceled 72 hours before the start date, Participants will receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for registration canceled 72 hours before class.
