Darn Knit Movie Night
What could be more fun than knitting and crocheting with your DKA friends while watching a movie about crime solving sheep? Nothing!
It's the perfect evening, and we couldn't be more excited to make it happen.
Sheep Detectives: Based on the book Three Bags Full, by Leonie Swann, this movie is perfect for all of us wool and sheep lovers. In this mystery, George (Hugh Jackman) is a shepherd who reads detective novels to his beloved sheep every night, assuming they can’t possibly understand. But when a mysterious incident disrupts life on the farm, the sheep realize they must become the detectives. As they follow the clues and investigate human suspects, they prove that even sheep can be brilliant crime-solvers.
The movie will be shown with the lights slightly up so you can count your stitches while you enjoy the movie.
When: Wednesday, June 10. The movie begins at 7:00pm. Our theater will be open to us at 6:30 so you can settle in with your project.
Where: Marcus Oakdale Cinema at 5677 Hadley Avenue North Oakdale, MN, 55128. Drive yourself to the theater and we will meet you there with the tickets.
