My First Sweater-Ramona Cardigan-Zoom

Beth will walk you though from gauge to finishing in this first sweater class. With the Ramona pattern and aran weight yarn you will see your progress over the four sessions.
Class: My First Sweater-Ramona Cardigan
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner, must be able to knit, purl and knit in the round comfortably.
You will learn: construction of a raglan style cardigan, swatching, button holes, button band and neck band pick-up, knitted cast-on, purled cast-on, make one left and right

- Aran Bulky Weight yarn
- Approx 775 (825, 900, 975, 1030, 1075) (1175, 1250, 1325, 1410, 1510) yds
- Finished bust sizes of 33.25 (35.25, 38.5, 41.75, 44, 46) (50.25, 53.5, 56.75, 60, 64)”

Berroco Vintage Chunky, Hikoo Simpliworsted, Fibre Co. &Make Aran, Lettlopi, Studio Donegal Soft Donegal, Cascade Ecological Wool/Eco+, Jody Long Andeamo Lite, Lamana Como Grande, Kelbourne Woolens Keystone
- US 9-24”/60 cm and 32”/80 cm circ needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
- US 9 DPNs or circular for magic loop for sleeves, or size used to obtain gauge
- US 8 32”/80 cm, 16”/40 cm circ and DPNs, or 1 needle size smaller than that used to obtain gauge.
- Stitch markers.
- Tapestry needle.
- 2 pieces of scrap yarn
- Buttons: 7 or 8 buttons depending on size made
