Granny Square Deck Class - ZOOM
Explore different ways to make a granny square. We are going to work our way through “The Granny Square Card Deck” over the next year.
We will break down the deck to a few cards per month and build our crochet skills.
Each class we will go over how to read the charts of the selected cards. Pick and choose your favorites.
We will learn how to crochet with more than one color in a round, mitered squares, cluster stitches, puff stitch, V stitch, popcorn stitch, raised double treble front, picot, and increases. We start with the basic granny square. Each granny square measures about 4 inches. Great for adventurous beginning crocheters!
Vintage Worsted or Uptown Worsted. 4 - 5 Colors recommended. Suggest at least one ball of each color purchased at the start of the year. Dye lots are not critical. Amount of yarn required will depend on which granny squares are completed.
