Nativo Cardigan

Are you ready to stretch your crochet garment skills?? The Nativo cardigan is a crochet cardigan that utilizes fun techniques to create the textured body and knit look button band. It utilizes puff stitches, a bow stitch and variations of the half double crochet to create the textured fabric. This lightweight cardigan will be a great layering piece in your wardrobe. Skills Required: Need to be comfortable with chaining, half double crochet, double crochet and slip stitches as well as reading a crochet pattern
You will learn: Creating a gauge swatch for your garment, Half double crochet variations, bow stitch, puff stitch

Supplies Needed: 

• Pattern: Nativo Cardigan by Stephanie Tejidos. You can purchase on Ravelry here or in store. Stephanie has kindly given a 15% coupon code for students – please use the code Nativo at checkout on Ravelry.  
• Yarn:  

• Recommended yarn – Fingering weight yarn in a solid, tonal or tweed colorway as texture will be lost in variegated yarn. Suggested yarns include Cascade Heritage, Uni Merino or Darnie. Pattern does include information on doing stripes if you want to use more than one color. 

• Hook:  Size G (4 mm) and H (5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge (we will swatch in the first class) 

Students are given a 10% discount for supplies needed for class and any purchases at the shop during class days, excluding sale items, gift cards, classes, and events.
