Mosaic Bandana
Discover the beauty of mosaic knitting—easy to knit, stunning to wear. In this class, you’ll create a fun, engaging project that’s perfect for showcasing striping yarn. Working with only one yarn per row makes the process relaxing and addictive, yet your finished piece will look like intricate, multicolor colorwork. Both written and charted instructions are provided, so you can follow whichever method suits you best.
Skills required: Very comfortable with knitting, purling, slipping stitches, and increasing (KFB). Able to read basic knitting patterns.
You will learn: Reading a pattern chart; managing two different yarns; mattress stitch and/or crocheted seaming; cable cast-on

Supplies needed:
- Murano Squares Bandana pattern (available for purchase on Ravelry or through DKA)
- Pattern is written for DK-weight yarn, but can be worked in other weights too (may affect yardage requirements). We recommend Entropy DK for the color-changing yarn and Scout for the solid. Allow for approximately 165 yards of each color.
- US 7 (4.5mm) needle - 24" or longer cable (piece is worked flat)
- Darning needle for seaming
Students are given a 10% discount for supplies needed for class and any purchases at the shop during class days, excluding sale items, gift cards, classes, and events.
Register early. Classes with fewer than three students will be canceled 72 hours before the start date, Participants will receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for registration canceled 72 hours before class.
