Adorable Animals

Knit your way to cuteness overload! In this class, you’ll use an irresistible Hardicraft kit to create your very own tiny, huggable stuffie. Each kit comes packed with everything you need—yarn, pattern, stuffing, and charming little accessories—so you can jump right into the fun. All you need to bring are your knitting needles (most kits use US 1.5 or US 2.5) and your skills. These projects are designed for knitters with intermediate experience, so get ready for a joyful challenge that ends with an adorable new friend. What a perfect gift for the holidays!

Class:  Adorable Animals
Skills Required: Experience knitting in the round, including small circumference knitting using either DPNs or Magic Loop; comfortable increasing and decreasing, picking up stitches, and mattress stitch.
You will learn: Shaping your animal using various increase/decrease stitches and short row shaping; finishing your animal, including adding stuffing, eyes, clothing, and other embellishments.

Supplies Needed:

• Your choice of Hardicraft kit (many different animals to choose from). All kits are available for purchase through DKA at a cost of $30.
• US circular (32" for Magic Loop)or DPN (most kits use a US 1.5 or US 2.5)
• Stitch markers, darning needle, tape measure, scissors, and other items specific to your chosen kit.

Students are given a 10% discount for supplies needed for class and any purchases at the shop during class days, excluding sale items, gift cards, classes, and events.

Register early. Classes with fewer than three students will be canceled 72 hours before the start date, Participants will receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for registration canceled 72 hours before class.
