Adorable Animals

These knitting kits from Hardicraft are the absolute cutest! They come with everything you need to make a 10" tall toy, including yarn, pattern, stuffing, and other accessories. All you need is the needles (most kits use a US 1.5 or US 2.5) and the knitting skills. Please note that these are not learn-to-knit/beginner kits; intermediate experience is required. 

Class:  Adorable Animals

Skills Required:  Experience with knitting in the round, including small circumference knitting using either DPNs or Magic Loop; comfortable increasing and decreasing, picking up stitches, and mattress stitch.

You will learn: Shaping your animal using various increase/decrease stitches and short row shaping; finishing your animal, including adding stuffing, eyes, clothing, and other embellishments.

• Your choice of Hardicraft kit, including a hare, cat, piglet, donkey, cow, panda, dachshund, and frog. All kits are available for purchase through DKA at a cost of $30.
• US circular (32" for Magic Loop)or DPN (most kits use a US 1.5 or US 2.5)
• Stitch markers, darning needle, tape measure, scissors, and other items specific to your chosen kit

Students are given a 10% discount for supplies needed for class and any purchases at the shop during class days, excluding sale items, gift cards, classes, and events.

Register early. Classes with fewer than three students will be canceled 72 hours before the start date, Participants will receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for registration canceled 72 hours before class.
