Sea Glass Cardigan

This cardigan is knitted from the top down using a faux "in-the-round" technique, eliminating the need for purl-side colorwork. Another standout feature is an innovative i-cord method that eliminates the need to weave in ends. The sleeves are worked in the round, and all edges are finished with 2x2 ribbing. To customize the final look, stitches are picked up to add either a button band or a shawl collar.

Class:  Sea Glass Cardigan
Skills required:  Experience with colorwork/stranded knitting; comfortable knitting in the round, including small circumference knitting using either DPNs or Magic Loop; comfortable doing the rib stitch; increasing and decreasing, and picking up stitches.
You will learn: Building a color palette from stash; determining yarn quantity by weight, 1x1 colorwork; short rows (shawl collar) or buttonholes (button band collar).
