Punky Power is knitted in one piece, top down, without seams.
From the designer: "Punky Power is inspired by the sweaters of my childhood. I grew up in the 80s and I am a forever fan of the particular fashion vibe of that time. Pastel colors, stripes and lace. You can certainly imagine the enormous joy I felt designing this piece. I channeled all my childhood memories to pay a tribute to a beloved figure of my youth: Punky Brewster!"
It can also be knit using any DK/light worsted weight yarn that meets the gauge.

Gauge: 18 stitches and 27 rows = 4 inches/10cm in stockinette stitch, after blocking.

New to 4-in-12? It's a free quarterly sweater knit-a-long that meets every other week on zoom in the morning and the evening. On the opposite Wednesdays, an in-person study hall meets in the mornings at the Makers Lounge.
During Zoom sessions, extensive demonstrations may be limited, as we do our best to answer as many questions as we can and help as many people as possible! If you are wanting some one-on-one help, we recommend attending the Study Hall In-Person classes on the opposite Wednesdays as the Zooms. If you are unable to attend Study Hall, we ask that you call and make an appointment so we can assure that one of our staff is available to assist you.
You may or may not have experience with some of these techniques, and we anticipate that everyone will be at different learning stages throughout this knit-a-long.
If you live locally, you are welcome to come to the in-person knit-along times the weeks opposite the zoom class.
