Building With Lace Class 2025

This price is for ALL 12 In Person sessions. We also have an online (Zoom) option available here.

Register once and come to all classes listed below. Class is from 10:30am - 12pm on the First Friday of the month. If you prefer an evening session, click here for the Zoom class.

Learn a bunch of fun new techniques with some fun folks! Class meets once a month and is only $60 for the WHOLE YEAR! Thats just $5 per class if you can believe it:) 

Knit a shawl (22" x 72"), 1 section at a time.

Building with Lace is the third publication from renowned knitter and teacher, Michelle Hunter. It is a carefully designed sequence of stitch patterns that introduce knitters to lace work starting with the basics and working towards more difficult stitch patterns to make one elegant shawl.

Supplies Needed:

• Building with Color the book can purchased on the DKA website HERE.  If you prefer a digital book it can be purchased at DKA.  You will need either book or e-book for class.  
• Let us know if you don't see a color you want. We may be able to special order.  
  • Hikoo Rylie. You will need 5 skeins each of 1 color.  We have bundled them for you. Click here to purchase Yes, you can also purchase skeins as you go throughout the year, but dyelots may change. You can choose other yarn bases if you prefer. we're happy to help.  If you want to use another yarn, you can use coupon code 'buildingblocks25" at checkout for 10% off
  • You'll use a US6 24" circular needle for this yarn
• 628 #6 seed beads (we'll help select these later in the year)

Register early. Classes with fewer than three students will be canceled 72 hours before the start date, Participants will receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for registration canceled 72 hours before class.
