The total cost of this ONE DAY CAMP event is $350.
This is a down payment for Saturday of SPIN Camp with Lauren McElroy.
This listing is the down payment of $150. It is required to hold your spot and is non-refundable (unless your bestie doesn't get a spot, then we'll credit you back:)
The remainder of your payment must be completed by April 1st. You will get an email confirmation in the days following your registration with payment invoice.
What is SPIN Camp?

We'll be talking about all things wool, wheels, and yes, spinning.
Bring your traditional wheel, spindle, or e-spinner.
This is an opportunity to bring your spinning to the next level! This is not a learn to spin event. Most instruction will be directed to wheel spinning, so to get the most out of this retreat, it is best to be comfortable making yarn and plying on a wheel. If you are a spindle spinner, you should be confident adapting wheel techniques to your spindle spinning.

Daily Focus - Mindfulness
Lauren is guiding us through the final day of camp. She focuses on reverence for the community we create and the craft we engage in. Her creative and unique perspective will open campers up to the meditative experience of spinning. We'll share the day with a shepherdess to talk about land, wool, and the connections we all share. A celebration of natural fibers! We'll close our event by focusing on rehabilitating movement, mindfulness, and meditation to remind us how good spinning feels!
Lauren McElroy is a Black, queer multidisciplinary fiber artist currently working in knitwear design, at their spinning wheel, and on themselves.
Lauren has been published in Interweave Knits, Vogue Knitting, Making Magazine, Spin Off Magazine, Ply magazine, Knistrips Interactive Knitting, and is a Season 7 Knitstar.
