Thrummed Mittens - ZOOM
Get ready for the winter ahead by knitting these extra warm mittens. Thrums are bits of roving added to your knitting to create a thick layer of soft wool to keep you warm on the coldest of days. Learn basic mitten construction with an added layer of fluff!
Skills required: Must be comfortable casting on, knitting, purling, and working in the round on a small circumference with magic loop or double point needles.

Supplies needed:
- Worsted weight yarn (approximately 220 yards). Cascade 220 here or Berroco Vintage here
- US 6 needles, double point or 32” inch or longer circular
- 2 oz merino wool fiber in one or more colors. Link to merino roving here.
