Many beginning spinners focus on keeping the twist in front of the forward hand. It's a great way to make a smooth, lustrous yarn, but what if you want a lighter, loftier yarn? We'll show you some techniques to introduce loft and bounce! Let's Let that twist in!
Class: Let that Twist IN!
Skills Required: Must be able to spin a consistent singles (of any weight/type).
Skills Learned: techniques to introduce loft and bounce for woolen yarn. This includes breed variations, fiber prep variations, and different drafting methods (short forward/short backward draft, letting the twist in, long draw, supported long draw).
