Class: Custom Socks from a Sock Tube
Skills Required: Knit and purl stitch, K2tog, SSK, knitting in the round with preferred method (magic loop or DPN's)
Skills You'll Learn: The class will focus learning how to divide a sock tube, place in an afterthought heel, cuff, and toe for one sock. You will also learn the Finchley graft (instead of Kitchener).

Bring measurements for a woman’s foot in Women’s 7-9 size sock size or we can measure your foot if it is in this range and the sock is for you. We need the length of the foot from the toe to the heel and the length from the heel to the end of the cuff.
Purchase one skein of sock yarn, which will be left at Darn Knit Anyway to be cranked by Amy before the first class. Must have purchased the yarn by December 31st. No dark colors, it will be too hard to pick up the stitches.
Uni Merino, Laines du Nord Art Sock, Laine du Nord Paint Gradient Sock, Laine du Nord Eclectic Sock, WYS Signature 4 Ply, Online Supersock 4 Ply, La Bien Aimee Super Sock (hand dyed)
Size US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle for magic loop or double pointed needles.
Tapestry needle for sewn Finchley graft.
Students are given a 10% discount for supplies needed for class and any purchases at the shop during class days, excluding sale items, classes and events.
