Alpine Bloom Hat

Tired of knitting with just one color and want to see how adding another color works? Maybe you have tried and your tension was off and you need some help. Colorwork in the round and decreasing can be a challenge but let Lori work with you to feel comfortable with color work, tension and construction of this beautiful hat over two sessions. 

Class:  Colorwork Hat
Skill Level:  Intermediate, must be able to knit, purl, increase/decrease and work in the round comfortably.

Supplies Needed:  
  • Alpine Bloom Hat Pattern by Caitlin Hunter purchase directly on Ravelry. 
  • Yarn:  Sport weight approximately 190 - 230 yards total, 110 - 130 yards main color, 80 - 100 yards for contrast.  We suggest Cascade 220 Sportpatagonia or scout. You could also use Edition 3 for a fun shading color.
  • US 3 and 5- 16 inch circular needles, will also need double points or circular for top of hat. Our circular needles can be found here
  • Stitch Marker
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Scissors
Homework:  Please come to class with ribbing of hat completed.  

Students are given a 10% discount for supplies needed for class and any purchases at the shop during class days, excluding sale items, gift cards, classes and events.
