You don't have to be Norwegian to appreciate this stunning hat. Join Lori as she guides you through this traditional Norwegian pattern featuring a double brim and your choice of three different designs for the crown.

Skills Required: Comfortable knitting in the round, including small circumference knitting using either DPNs or Magic Loop; rib stitch; increasing and decreasing; some experience with colorwork is helpful, but not required.
What You'll Learn: Tips to improve your colorwork tension; carrying floats; reading a colorwork chart; how to transition from knitting in the round to DPNs/Magic Loop.

Supplies Needed:
- Adult Eight Pointed Star Pattern. come to class with pattern purchased and downloaded. Or we can help in the shop.
- US 1.5 & 2.5 needles (or size needed to get gauge) - 16" and DPN or 32" for Magic Loop
- DK weight yarn - 100 grams MC, 50 grams CC. Recommended yarns, Cascade 220 sport, Patagonia, Berroco Vintage DK.
Students are given a 10% discount for supplies needed for class and any purchases at the shop during class days, excluding sale items, classes and events.
