Funfetti Intarsia



Just how do you put that block of color in that shawl?  There is no way those are all floats...Intarsia is the color work technique of having two colors and one section of color is surrounded by the other.   Let Carroll show you how to understand this technique all while making this fun shawl,  the Funfetti by Maxim Cyr

Class:  Funfetti Intarsia 
Skill Level:  Intermediate, colorwork experience,  able to knit and purl very comfortably

Supplies Needed:  

  • The Funfetti Pattern by Maxim Cyr.  Available to purchase at DKA or on Ravelry
  • 462 yards of sport weight yarn,  or pattern used La Bien Aimee Helix held double
  • 22 yards of sport weight yarn in three different colors
  • US 4-40 inch circular needle
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Scissors
Carroll is using Scout as MC and Cascade 220 sport for pops of color.

Students are given a 10% discount for supplies needed for class and any purchases at the shop during class days, excludes sale items, classes and events. 

*Please register early.   Classes with less than 3 registrations, 72 hours prior to the start date, will be canceled and participants will be given a full refund.  Student Cancellations may be made up to 48 hours before the first class is held. No refunds for cancellations will be made within 48 hours of class.*
