March Sampler-New Embroidery Stitches

Check out our embroidery materials at the shop! Who is looking to expand your crafting range?  Want to embellish garments with embroidery, make different handmade gifts or just learn a few embroidery stitches to check it out?  Lynn will walk you through the basic stitches as you create a small sampler centered around Spring.   This class will be offering new stitches in addition to the running, back chain, french knot and couching stitches. 

Class:  Basic Embroidery Stitches 
Skill Level:  Beginner to Experienced,  This class will be offering new stitches in addition to the running, back chain, french knot and couching stitches. 
Location:  DKA Makers' Lounge
Instructor:  Lynn

Supplies Needed:

• Embroidery Floss
• A needle with an eye large enough for the floss (there are Chenille needles for sale at DKA)
• A piece of cotton, woven fabric at least 10"x10"  (or the instructor will provide)
• A 6-inch embroidery hoop
• optional - thimble, beeswax, scissors, water-soluble marking pen

Students are given a 10% discount for supplies and purchases at the shop during this class excludes sale items, classes and events.
