February Sampler-Basic Embroidery Stitches

Check out our embroidery materials at the shop! Who is looking to expand your crafting range? Want to embellish garments with embroidery, make different handmade gifts or just learn a few embroidery stitches to check it out? Lynn will walk you through the basic stitches as you create a small sampler centered around Valentine's Day.

Class: Basic Embroidery Stitches
Skill Level: Beginner (stitches taught: running, back chain, french knot and couching stitches)
Location: DKA Makers' Lounge
Instructor: Lynn

Supplies Needed:

Embroidery Floss
A needle with an eye large enough for the floss (there are Chenille needles for sale at DKA)
A piece of cotton, woven fabric at least 10"x10" (instructor will provide)
A 6-inch embroidery hoop
optional - thimble, beeswax, scissors, water-soluble marking pen

Students are given a 10% discount for supplies and purchases at the shop during this class.

*Please register early. Classes with less than 3 registrations 48 hours before the start date will be canceled, and participants will be given a full refund.*
