My First Sweater-Ramona Pullover

Would you love to knit a sweater but not sure where to start?  What pattern is a good one to try?  Thinking how would you ever finish?  We can help you with all those questions and more.   Kate will walk you though from gauge to finishing in this first sweater class.  With the Ramona pattern and aran weight yarn you will see your progress over the four weeks.  

Class:   My First Sweater-Ramona Pullover 
Skill Level:  Advanced Beginner,  must be able to knit, purl and knit in the round comfortably.

Supplies Needed:  

  • Ramona Pullover Pattern by Elizabeth Smith.  Available for purchase in the shop or on Ravelry
  • Aran Weight yarn,  amount depends on size made (825-1755 yards)
  • • US 10-24”/60 cm and 32”/80 cm circ needles, or size needed to obtain gauge. 
  • US 10/6 mm DPNs  or circular for magic loop for sleeves, or size used to obtain gauge 
  • US 9/5.5 mm 32”/80 cm, 16”/40 cm circ and DPNs, or 1 needle size smaller than that used to obtain gauge.
  • Stitch markers. 
  • Tapestry needle. 
  • 2 pieces of scrap yarn, approx 20”/51 cm in length.

We are happy to assist your with sizing and yarn selection at the shop.  A reminder, students are given a 10% discount for supplies needed for class and any purchases at the shop during class days. 

*Please register early.   Classes with less than 3 registrations, 48 hours prior to the start date, will be canceled and participants will be given a full refund.*
