Colorwork 101-Shetland Wool Week Hat

Every year there is a new pattern in celebration of Shetland Wool Week!  Want to learn colorwork but not sure where to start?   Give Fair Isle knitting at try but a bit nervous?  There is a class for that.  There are a few hats to choose from with this class,  pick one and Carroll will walk you through how to make one of these beautiful hats.  

Class:  Colorwork 101 
Location:  DKA Makers' Lounge
Instructor:  Carroll

Supplies Needed:    (we are well stocked in Jameison Yarn and happy to assist with pattern and color selection)
Choose one of the following patterns:  
Bonnie Isle Hat
Da Crofters Kep
Katie's Kep
Fingerweight yarn,  number of colors listed in the pattern (typically 5)
US 1-3, 16-inch circular needle or needle needed for guage
Same needle size in either DPN or 24 inch circular for magic loop
Stitch Marker 
Tapestry Needle

Students are given a 10% discount on regular priced supplies for class and purchases at the shop during class days.  

*Please register early.   Classes with less than 3 registrations, 48 hours prior to the start date, will be canceled and participants will be given a full refund.*
