Darn Knit Anyway is a yarn store in Stillwater, Minnesota, and yes, we're a really good one. Beautiful yarn, high-quality tools, and a team that genuinely knows what they're talking about. But if you've ever been here, you know that's not really the point.
The point is the Makers Lounge that always has a place for you. The sandwich board out front makes people stop and take a photo. The team member who pulls up a chair next to you when you're stuck, without being asked. The moment you hold up something you made with your own hands and can't quite believe you did that. We live for that moment. We engineer it, actually.
We believe you can make the thing...the sweater, the baby hat, the chemo cap, the Christmas stocking that comes out every December. We believe that making things matters. And we believe that the right store, with the right people, can make you feel more capable and more connected than you did when you walked in.
