Let's learn how to fix some of our most common mistakes without ripping out. 
What happens if you are short a stitch, or have too many. How do you back out a k2tog or SSK or CDD? What if you forgot to increase or decrease?

Supplies: 2 homework swatches - below, a cable needle or double pointed needle.
A knitting needle about 2 sizes smaller than your swatch needle
Size F or G crochet hook

Homework Swatches
Use light colored, worsted weight wool yarn. US7 or 8 needle.

Cast on 24 stitches

Swatch 1 - stockinette stitch

Rows 1 and 3: (RS) Knit 24 stitches
Rows 2 and 4: (WS) Purl 24 stitches

Work above rows for 24 rows - leave stitches on holder or needle

Swatch 2 - garter stitch

All rows: Knit 24 stitches

Work above rows for 24 rows - leave stitches on holder or needle
